- Does the AC gas need topping up every year?
- No. The refrigerant runs in a sealed loop and normally doesn't deplete; if it drops, there's a leak that must be fixed first. Annual service measures the gas pressure and, if needed, tops it up after repairing the leak.
- My AC smells bad — why?
- It's usually from moisture, dust and mould building up on the indoor unit and drain tray. Filter cleaning and professional disinfection remove the smell. This maintenance matters even more in the humid Black Sea climate.
- Does an AC I don't use in winter need maintenance?
